LeadCare II

The LeadCare II equipment is a rapid and portable diagnostic device (CLIA Waived) used to measure blood lead levels.

​

  • It uses anodic voltammetry technology to detect and quantify lead levels in the blood

  • Results are available in 3 minutes and are reported as lead concentration in micrograms by deciliter (µg/dL)

  • If an elevated blood lead level is detected, action can be taken to reduce exposure and treat the effects of lead
